“Shirley Goodness and Friends” Music and Comedy Cabaret: Event Highlights
Shirley Goodness and a choir of orange tartan wrapped up this year's M&S fundraiser on October 10.
Hosted at The Columbia Theatre in New Westminster, the crowd of 142 guests enjoyed fellowship and fun philanthropy including dinner, several cabaret musical numbers and jellybean guessing contest. And raised just over $4,100!
Work from The United Church of Canada's Stewardship Toolkit was shared, plus a video about The Long House Council of Native Ministry, a recipient of M&S grants. And David Armour, Director of Philanthropy for The United Church of Canada, was presented with a cheque for $32,353 from Kamloops-Okanagan Presbytery, a direct donation from the sale of a church property in Clinton, BC.
