Calling all MEN!

There is something special happening for men this fall. It will intrigue and delight. It will educate and motivate. And it will spiritually inspire. It is the 2010 Banff Men's Conference happening Oct 15 - 17. This is an annual conference for Men which covers spiritual issues and many secular ones. There will be lots of discussion with sharing of thoughts, experiences and ideas combined with worship and plenty of singing. And of course there is an inspiring speaker to guide us through the theme of the conference which is:

To Seek Justice and Resist Evil: Making a Straight Path for the Lord.

The theme speaker, Brigadier General Peter Holt (retired) has strived for 39 years in the Canadian Armed Forces to be a soldier of Christ as well as a soldier of the military. He will lead us on a journey to explore our feelings on these matters and empower us to discuss our views in an open and respectful manner.
There are also numerous workshops planned including Post Traumatic Stress, Drumming, The Spirituality of Sex, Men at Risk, Everyday Ethics and many others. And situated in Banff, the Conference is held at the Banff Centre which offers one of the world’s most scenic backdrops at its doorstep.
This conference promises to be both engaging and memorable and if you are a man you should come. And there is a special offer for students who may be a little cash strapped so if you are a full time student the $100.00 registration fee to the Conference will be waived.
