By Car
From Highway 1 (Trans Canada)
Exit at Grandview Highway. Continue to travel west. Grandview Highway becomes 12th Avenue. Continue for 60 or more blocks. At the crossing with Macdonald, 12th curves into West 10th Avenue; continue on 10th Avenue. You will enter the campus of the University of British Columbia where the road becomes University Boulevard. Pass the University Golf Course. At the second light, turn right on Wesbrook Mall; go two blocks to a T-junction. Turn left onto Chancellor Boulevard; stay in the left-hand lane to turn left at the first break in the median onto Theology Mall. The Iona Building is straight ahead.

From the US Border
From the Peace Arch crossing (US Interstate 5), proceed northward on Highway 99 North to Vancouver. Highway 99 becomes Oak Street. Stay on Oak Street until you reach West 41st Avenue. Turn left. Follow 41st until it merges onto Marine Drive, and continue on Marine onto the campus of the University of British Columbia. After the road winds past Gates 7 and 6 and the Museum of Anthropology, you come to a five-road intersection. Continue straight on (Chancellor Boulevard). Turn at the first right onto Theology Mall. The Iona Building is straight ahead.

From the Airport
Follow signs to Vancouver. On the Arthur Laing Bridge, stay in the right-hand lane. Exit to City Centre (Granville Street). Move over to the left lane and turn left at the second light onto West 70th Avenue, which becomes Southwest Marine Drive. Follow its full extent (10 km) onto the campus of the University of British Columbia. After the road winds past Gates 7 and 6 and the Museum of Anthropology, you come to a five-road intersection. Continue straight on (Chancellor Boulevard). Turn at the first right onto Theology Mall. The Iona Building is straight ahead.

From Horseshoe Bay Ferry
Follow the signs to Vancouver on the Upper Levels Highway. Take Exit 13 and proceed down Taylor Way to Marine Drive. Turn left at the light for Lions Gate (or First Narrows) Bridge. Over the bridge and through the park, the road becomes Georgia Street. Follow Georgia uphill to Burrard. Turn right. Follow Burrard across the Burrard Street Bridge. Follow UBC signs, bearing left off the bridge. Turn right onto West 4th Avenue and travel 10 km. Fourth Avenue becomes Chancellor Boulevard. Pass Wesbrook Mall. Take the next left, Theology Mall. The Iona Building is straight ahead.

From Tsawwassen Ferry
Follow signs to Vancouver. You will join Highway 99 North. Highway 99 becomes Oak Street. Stay on Oak Street until you reach West 41st Avenue. After the road winds past Gates 7 and 6 and the Museum of Anthropology, you’ll come to a five-road intersection. Continue straight on (Chancellor Boulevard). To reach VST on foot from UBC bus loop: Most bus routes onto the UBC campus terminate at the north bus loop temporarily located on Wesbrook Mall. See www.maps.ubc.ca. Walk north on Wesbrook Mall (toward the mountains) for about a couple of minutes; then turn left on Iona Drive. The Iona Building (“the Castle”) is on your left about 150 meters down the road. The building address is: 6000 Iona Drive, Vancouver, B.C.
