A confident, trustworthy and spiritually resourceful team offering pastoral and spiritual care to Ministry Personnel in BC Conference.

What Network members do...

  • Offer spiritual crisis care for clergy in their presbytery
  • Know when to connect a person in ministry to other forms of support
  • Encourage collegial connections and spiritual friendship amongst ministry colleagues
  • Initiate local activity in support of the vision of the Spiritual Care Network
  • Keep members of presbytery aware of the network
  • Facilitate conversations in presbytery about spiritual care
  • Identify leadership for the provision of spiritual care in presbytery
  • Know and offer spiritual care resources for referral as needed
  • Maintain one’s own spiritual well being through prayer and spiritual practices

What we don’t do...

  • Offer a counseling service to people in ministry
  • Undermine our own spiritual centeredness by trying to do too much
  • Use confidential information from our spiritual care in evaluative processes in presbytery
