It is with positive joy that the Resource Centre Board is recommending the closing of the Kamloops Okanagan Presbytery Resource Centre as a seller of United Church based books and resources effective December 31, 2011. We are developing something new and exciting that all can access on-line.

After 26 years of faithful service to the presbyters of Kamloops Okanagan and Kootenay district the Kamloops Okanagan Presbytery Resource Centre is removing itself from the buying and selling of books and resources.

We do this with the knowledge that United Church based books and resources can now be purchased readily on-line and often at better prices and faster delivery.

As well, book displays, a staple of our service, can be provided through our own United Church owned Naramata Centre through their on-site bookstore Mustard Seed.

The best part is we close without leaving a debt to the Presbytery that has funded us over the years – Kamloops-Okanagan. Please support our remaining (other?) United Church based resource and booksellers:

We will be developing a site that will allow you to read book reviews by our own clergy and lay people and provide your own feedback on various books and resource tools.

You will be able to see what book studies are being conducted and find out if existing study questions are available to conduct your own book study.
